This national bamboo and rattan development strategy and action plan, is formulated for the period 2025-2029 to guide actions for the sustainable development of the sector in coherence with existing policies and national orientations in forestry sector. It will unlock the national potential of B&R resources towards a developed and well-coordinated business sector for value addition, improving livelihoods, restoring ecosystems and addressing climate concerns.
