2021年是充满挑战的一年，更是硕果累累的一年。在新冠肺炎疫情持续肆虐的背景下，INBAR携手成员国、区域和国际合作伙伴砥砺前行，卓有成效地推进全球竹藤事业的繁荣发展。国际竹藤组织2021年度报告从全球竹藤政策宣介与推广、知识共享与经验借鉴、区域竹藤产业推进与发展、实地研究与政府支持等四方面对全年工作和成果展开了叙述。
2020 年中国竹藤产品进出口贸易总额达 23 亿美元，其中，出口贸易总额为 22.7 亿美元，竹产品进出口贸易总额为 22.1 亿美元，藤产品进出口贸易总额约 0.9 亿美元。

以举办首届世界竹藤大会和参加23届联合国气候变化大会为代表，2018年， INBAR在东道国和世界其他地区，参与了许多大型且重要的国际活动，媒体宣传报道纪录创下新高。据统计，截止到2018年12月20日，国际竹藤组织外联外宣部共产出中英文各类文章约200篇，其中新闻报道100余篇，大部分为原创新闻。本《汇编》特从微信平台摘录56篇中文稿件，以方便读者了解延伸阅读。
为有效保护培育、合理开发利用全球竹藤资源，1997年成立了国际竹藤组织。这是第一个总部设在中国北京的全球性政府间国际组织，也是全球唯一一家专门针对竹藤可持续发展的国际机构。经过20多年的发展，国际竹藤组织日益壮大。截至2019年1月，成员国已达44个，广泛分布在非洲、亚洲、美洲和大洋洲，并在埃塞俄比亚、加纳、喀麦隆、印度和厄瓜多尔设立了区域办公室.

2018世界竹藤大会（BARC2018）于2018年6月25日-27日在北京国家会议中心圆满召开。本次大会由国际竹藤组织（INBAR）与中国国家林业和草原局联合主办，国际竹藤中心（ICBR）承办，130余家合作伙伴机构和1200位代表参与。大会以“竹藤南南合作助推可持续绿色发展”为主题，搭建了竹藤领域政策对话、技术创新、产业合作、知识分享的高端国际平台。在各方的共同努力下，三天会议精彩纷呈，2018世界竹藤大会完成了所有议程，实现了预期目标,是一场规模大、规格高、影响深的大会；是一场内容丰富、特色鲜明、成果丰硕大会。我们相信，通过本次大会的成功举办，竹藤在全球绿色可持续发展和南南合作中将发挥更新、更大、更积极的作用。
