2020 年中国竹藤产品进出口贸易总额达 23 亿美元，其中，出口贸易总额为 22.7 亿美元，竹产品进出口贸易总额为 22.1 亿美元，藤产品进出口贸易总额约 0.9 亿美元。

2019年全球竹藤产品出口贸易总额达到34.17亿美元，较2018年增长5.14%；其中，竹产品出口贸易额为30.54亿美元，藤产品出口贸易总额为3.63亿美元，分别占全球竹藤商品国际贸易总额的89.38%和10.62%；2019年中国仍是全球最大的竹产品出口国，而印度尼西亚则是藤产品的最大出口国，美国和欧洲正在成为国际竹藤贸易的重要参与者。
