Learning about bamboo allometric and hydrology in Ecuador
Experts, researchers and teachers from Colombia, Ecuador and Peru, were trained in June on various bamboo allometric and hydrological issues in Ecuador together with two expert teachers from India.
In June, the province of Orellana in Ecuador was chosen for the training program “Bamboo Allometric and Hydrological Research”, promoted by INBAR, the International Fund for Agricultural Development and the National Institute of Agricultural Research of Ecuador.
The training process was led by professors Ambrish Kumar from the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering and Technology and Rajesh Kaushal from the Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation.

More than 20 people, including teachers, researchers, and experts in forest resources from Colombia, Ecuador and Peru, attended the four day training which combined theory with practice on various topics that covered the Tramadol https://99percentinvisible.org/ introduction of bamboo, the establishment of experimental plots, and the registration of bamboo growth parameters, among other topics related to the use bamboo of allomeric and hydrological purposes.
